Many improvements in operation have been made to short path distillation of cannabinoids. The newest technique called the "hot condenser tech" is to avoid condensation of your volatile fraction into your main body by running the condenser of your short path head at a very hot temperature (140-175°C). The idea is to condense only the heaviest fraction and all lighter fractions will be bypassed.
This means that your volatile fraction will no longer be condensed in your short path head and will need an auxilary condensing system. The "auxilary condenser" is perfectly suited to condense your volatile fractions after your short path head, and before your cold trap. We pair this up with our jacketed bottle to keep your volatile fraction very cold, prevent churning, and out of your vapor stream.
