Reaction Block for Round Bottom Flask

Reaction blocks are used to transfer heat from the hotplate stirrer to a round bottom flask. Made of aluminum for rapid heat transfer and does not interfere with the stirring magnetic field. Standardized flask sizes are important to fit the block correctly. Best used for moderate temperature work, but not recommended for high temperature work above around 140°C.
